Cherry Blossoms Jefferson Memorial Washington DC

Framing a monument using Cherry blossoms as the Frame. Both the Jefferson Memorial and Cherry Blossoms are of interest to any Washington DC visitor. Using both to form your photo by juxtaposition creates a lot of interest in your photo. A trip to Washington DC and all the monuments is a fascinating photographer dream.

This year Photoshop World may be there at the height of the Blossoms creating a splendid background for any monument shot. Landscapes of Washington DC are famous. Creating your own Art with your photography is key. No matter how many times we see a picture created, we are entranced when it is ours. Creating is something we all enjoy and reproducing the effect of famous pictures adores us as photographers.

Love the uniqueness of this first one. So many points. Looks almost like a butterfly or a heart in pink. Fascinating to look upon.

Take lots of pictures of flowers even if you do not know the names. I am not a horticulturist but love the colors, the defining curves, the unusual shapes, and their inner and outer beauty. Flowers spruce up nature with a beautiful dress. Flowers are inviting, at least they invite me.

Over the years I have taken more pictures of flowers. Digital allows me to experience and experiment. Fill the frame. Step back and get more of the scene. Both are good but something about a close up really brings the flower into my senses.

Westcott sets up photo scenes with props, backgrounds and models at Photoshop World on the Expo floor. Access to the Expo Floor is FREE for two days. If you can’t afford the entire conference go to the Expo Floor for educational sessions, meeting other photographers, graphic designers, or instructors. Lots of sessions, books, and lighting experts.

Photo Tips Night Pictures

Best way to learn is to do. Experiment. Hesitant to post Photo Tips because the pictures were interesting but not perfect. Decided Interesting is ok because that is how I learn. Some shots are not meant to be with the tool being used but as a Photographer it was necessary. It was too much fun to see the results. Thought it would be fun to show you what I did and find out which ones you like. Here goes nothing, LOL!!

Took this picture of the Carousel in motion and thought – oh – I should take a steady show – but I love the motion – What do you think?

Night Reflections SeaWorld Christmas Photography

Photo Tips Night Reflections at SeaWorld Christmas Celebration

Love trying more things and stretching my photographic knowledge of my camera by going out and shooting pictures. With a small camera, it goes every where with me so I can shoot and capture my environment. Taking night pictures again at SeaWorld was on my mine after these first three. From above of the whole Ice Skating rink was my goal. Last year I saw a capture someone else got and thought next year I would go upstairs. I watch the Ice Skating show twice this night. The balcony shots are the early show. Love these. Have fun looking. Which are your favorites? What is it you like about them?

Love this blue and the reflections. The lighted tables are so cool to see at night. The bags of light are plastic with light bulbs but gives the neighborhood look and feel to this Christmas Market Area of SeaWorld Christmas Celebration
