Three Women Photographers 3 Photography Greats Talented Interesting

Photography Greats

Some photographers are on the big stage for work done at National Geographic ( Joe McNally )  or part of Photoshop World, for me, the ones I like watching are on their own personal journeys to become the best at who they are. It is fun to watch the progress, Read the tweets, or see the updates on Facebook. Going out and digging into their website gives you valuable information on why they are GREAT. Picking just three women of the many photographers I have met was difficult, yet so much fun to immerse myself into their websites, Facebook, and blogs. These three have touched my life and my heart with their amazing journeys. Staying connected to people I admire is as simple as following on twitter and Facebook to see what is new as they create new products of their inner creativity.

Web Designer, Photographer, Video and Film, and Educational Technology Leader has been a joy to watch. Her pictures of her son are amazing. Her journey in exploration of Second Life and Video takes you on a storytelling trip to other worlds. Her website is redesigned from a promotion of her talents into a masterpiece of her talents. Erika is a very creative and talented artist whose work shows her dedication to excellence. We met at George Washington University while completing our Master Degree in Educational Technology Leadership. Enjoy her!

Lynda Giddens

Lynda loves helping others and leading groups for the Sitsgirls.com where we met during a Build a Better Blog group last summer where she was co-leader with some amazing women. Lynda considers herself an amateur. Everything she learns about photography  is shared online (well maybe not everything). Her blog consists of tips and helpful tutorial for photography and blogging.  Daily she publishes a roundup of others work. Showcasing, encouraging, and promoting others endears Lynda to you. Visit and enjoy Lynda’s explorations.

Kimberly Gauthier

Kimberly teaches herself Photography. We met at Sitsgirls.com and have continued that connection on twitter and Facebook. Kim shares what she teaches herself or learns from trial and error. Kim considers herself an amateur photographer yet her photos are amazing. Although I would label her a professional photographer because once you sell your work or your services you cross the line into being a Professional. Kim offers a personal Photowalk with you to help with learning. Follow this amazing photographer.

Stop Motion YouTube video to Commercial Contract

YouTube is ideal for highlighting your portfolio of animation. Stop motion animation shows movement with frame-by-frame film process. Filmmakers and Storytellers experiment with stop motion to tell a story.

RhettandLink created a video about a T-shirt war and posted it to YouTube where many people liked it. Their video became ubiquitous on the Internet and gained the attention of companies looking for a new and engaging way to advertise. Lucrative contracts can come from seemly unknown places by experimentation and ingenuity. Coca Cola and McDonald’s employed the group to make a commercial for them for TV.

How did they do it? For the video they became famous for, they changed t-shirts over 100 times. A company called Rush T-shirts made each individual t-shirt used in their video. This stop motion animation became the T-shirt war seen by huge audiences and resulted in a TV commercial made for Coca Cola and McDonald’s:
